New clothes

So I came back from a shopping spree for work clothes yesterday to find that Donnie also liked my clothes.

Bedtime

Nothing makes Donnie happier than sleeping in our bed. He manages to take up most of the room by only sleeping sideways. Thanks Donnie!

Wet dog

Well it hasn't been raining in New York too much because it is finally SUMMER!!

Donnie's new best friend

Donnie has a new best friend, a whippet!

This whippet like to chew on a few ball pens hence his blue paws.

More Sleeptime

It's no secret, Donnie loves to sleep.
He is an angel and even has his sleep poses

Hot

Its hot. So Donnie takes it easy.

Cats

Donnie just loves cats. It may be their effeminate nature or their sassy attitude. But something about them draws him towards them.

Household help

When it comes to household tasks such as cleaning around the home. Donnie is always first to volunteer. He brings what he describes as his best asset, "being there for you".

Here is an example of Donnie coming to my rescue when sorting through sheets.

He will make eye contact with me, which is just like asking "Are you alright with that?".

And lets be honest, what ever it is that he is doing, he is doing a great job.

Burberry

Donnie just loves the Burberry store on Bleecker street. So much so that when they are open, he will push the door open, mingle with the staff and inevitably gain himself a treat.
With that said, he does not understand why they are closed at night. He pines and stares through the windows in the hope that they may open for him. They do not. He continues to stare.

Sleeping

Although Donnie is a super high energy dog. He does love to sleep. He is extremely affectionate and loves nothing more than chilling out at home.

Operation!

So like most dogs in New York, Donnie had to undergo a brief surgery to remove his... <ahem>... testicles.

It was worth removing the testicles and the tumour and the surgery was successful. The only tough time was spending a few night sleeping with the cone of sadness.

 

However after a few days, he was back to sleeping in the sun and enjoying life again.

The Vet

Donnie goes to the vet without complaining. Ever.
His vet is the Animal hospital on 14th street. Apparently 5 years ago, a lady walked past this door and wiggled her finger underneath. He has been obsessed with this door ever since.

SunBather

Nothing is more relaxing than lying in the sun. Especially in the morning on a cold day. 

This applies to Donnie too.

He loves the sun. Just loves it.

And he doesn't appreciate being disturbed for the 20 minutes his favourite sun patch shines in through our window in the mornings.

Winter

Winter is Donnie's favourite time of year. Why? I hear you ask, well he gets to dress up in his red little booties of course!

Silly faces

Donnie doesn't realise it sometimes, but he is hilarious when not comes to making faces. He beats me in a face making competition any day of the week.

So it is summer here in NYC and it was high time Donnie got his haircut for the summer. Who would have thought he was a Dalmatian under all that hair??

It's all too much

It's all too much for the little one today. He has even given up on his rubber donut.
